Some major and regional countries involved in the Syrian crisis are racing to establish military bases there, ensuring their presence in strategic locations and close to the battle lines.
Information on these foreign military bases, locations and numbers are conflicting, but some are known
The US military bases are mainly located in Rouge Ava (northern Syria) and its first air bases (Rumailan). It also has seven other bases in Mabrouka and other villages.
America also has bases in both the Ruparia airport in the vicinity of Kobany, the Tel Baidar area north of Hasaka, and one under construction in the class, and has an important base in the Tunnel
There are reports that the United States has established about 20 military bases in Syria in Rouge Ava (northern Syria)
Moscow has also strengthened its presence in Syria through nine military bases, most notably the Hameimim base, which receives the Sukhoi 35S, as well as the naval base in Tartous, which is of great strategic importance to Russia.
There are also three Turkish bases in Syria, one of which is in Jebel el Sheikh, in the countryside of Aleppo
Satellite images revealed Iran was building a new military base near the Syrian capital Damascus. Where the military base is located in the northwest of Damascus, 12 kilometers from the Syrian capital.
Turkey also has three bases, one of them in Jabal Sheikh Barakat in Aleppo, Aleppo.
Britain also has a single military base in Syria, located in the Al-Tanf area. Hezbollah’s Lebanese militia have four main bases that facilitate the movement of its fighters in the areas where they operate
