Kurdish fighters strike Turkish army in” Zab” Kurdistan

PKK fighters carried out a military operation with heavy weapons, against attempts by the Turkish army to advance in the kurdistan border areas, and succeeded in destroying the designated targets.

“As part of the revolutionary saga of resistance to the Zagros Hawks, on January 1 at 16:00, our forces launched a heavy-duty strike on the Turkish occupation army stationed in The Citadel of Badawi Square in Zab area of the Legislative Defence Areas (Medea), twice, and as a result of these operations carried out by our forces with heavy weapons, the operation succeeded in injuring the specific targets,” the PKK Military Wing Media Center said in a statement on Sunday.

“Warplanes belonging to the Turkish Occupation Army bombed twice, December 31, between 09:35-09:40 and 17:18-17:20, the square of the village of Goz in the Kari area,” the statement said.

“The perimeter of the Lulan River, located in the Khakurk area and Tel Barbazan square in the Gonić area, was also bombed at 09:30 and January 1, 14:30, by Turkish occupation warplanes,” he said.

“On December 31 and January 1, Turkish warplanes bombed Jiayi Rash, Kunishka and Tal Amediya squares in the Zab region,” he said.

“The shelling of the Turkish occupation did not result in any damage and casualties among our Krilla forces,” the statement said.
