Why does “Barzani” always make himself a partner of the notorious Alliance of Turkey and Qatar?

Kajin Ahmed –

The foreign ministers of Qatar, “Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman al-Thani”, Turkey,” Mouloud Jawish Oglu” and Russia’s “Sergei Lafrov” held a meeting in Doha on March 11 to discuss the Syrian issue.

During a joint conference with his counterparts, “Jawish Oglu” said that, it was agreed between the three countries to fight all separatist agendas, which pose a threat to the national security of neighboring countries, in a clear reference to the SDF, claiming that his country is seeking to preserve the territorial integrity of Syria.

The three ministers also stressed in their speech that there will be an initiative to deliver humanitarian aid” and increase efforts to double humanitarian aid to Syria, noting that the continuation of the three-way joint meetings to discuss the Syrian issue.

Just nine days later, the resolutions, which resulted in this tripartite meeting, were practically translated on the ground, as Turkey launched a new aggression against Syrian territory and the SDF in Ain Issa, colluding and a Russian agreement.

This was offset by the bombing of Russian aircraft on the strongholds of the former Pro-Turkish Al-Nusra Front in Idlib areas, amid mutual silence by the two countries, and failure to meet their mandates.

But in a contradictory step, it became clear that the second step of the secret resolutions, what was agreed between Turkey and Russia, on Wednesday, where three crossings were opened “Saraqeb and Miznar” in Idlib and “Abu al-Zandin” in Aleppo countryside, and subject to the Liberation of The Levant “Jabhat al-Nusra” and Turkish forces, and between areas under the Syrian regime and Russia.

Russia and Iran have deliberately closed the two main crossings in Al-Tabqa, which are connected to the self-governing areas of Raqqa.

The three countries are trying to drag Iraq and the Kurdistan Region into the trap of their tripartite agreements, to revive the Syrian regime, on the one hand and the hardline Syrian factions on the other.

The first steps began in a consultative meeting between The Turkish Ambassador “Fateh Yildiz” and the Iraqi national security advisor Qassem al-Araji, amid news that Turkish forces were moving from their base in Bashiqa towards Shengal, to try to tighten the siege on the autonomous areas of northern and eastern Syria, while the PUK denied it.

The move was followed by a visit to Iraq by Qatar’s Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman al-Thani, who will then leave for the capital of the Kurdistan Region to meet with the leaders of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the regional authorities, who are Turkey’s most powerful allies in the region.

Turkey has strategic relations with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and with the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iraq and its president “Massoud Barzani” in particular, where the two sides are strong allies in the region, and what the foreign minister of Qatar to Holler is only to increase this friendship as Qatar and Turkey are considered the only allies in the region.

The question arises, why does Barzani always make himself a partner of the notorious Alliance of Turkey and Qatar in the region?
