Astronomers have discovered a planet outside the solar system, which lost its atmosphere billions of years ago, but has acquired a new atmosphere through volcanic activity.

Scientists believe that the planet G-1132B has emerged as a gaseous planet such as Jupiter and Saturn, with a dense atmosphere of hydrogen.

Scientists believe that the planet G-1132B has emerged as a gaseous planet such as Jupiter and Saturn, with a dense atmosphere of hydrogen.

The planet lost its atmosphere during its first 100 million years of formation, due to the intense radiation of its host star, which orbits it once every 1.6 days.

The British “Daily Mail” newspaper reported that, the planet had recreated a new atmosphere due to volcanic activity on its surface.

Scientists from NASA and the University of Cambridge used the Hubble Telescope and simulation models to explore how the planet lost its atmosphere and then recovered it.

This, the new atmosphere is made up of hydrogen molecules, hydrogen cyanide and methane and also contains aerosol fog.
