“General Mazlum Abdi”: The sacrifices of the march 12 martyrs culminate today by a democratic administration that protects all components of the North of Syria

The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, General “Mazlum Abdi”, confirmed that, the March 12 uprising was the first spark of the July 19 revolution in Rojava, and that the sacrifices of the martyrs culminated today in a democratic self-administration that protects all components of the north of Syria.

He Wrote in his Twitter account on Friday, for the 17th anniversary of the March 12 uprising in Qamishlo.

“The March 12, 2004 uprising against the oppression and tyranny of the Baathist regime is the spark that sparked the July 19, 2012 revolution in Rojava,” the general said in a tweet.

“The sacrifices of the martyrs of the intifada culminate today in a democratic self-administration that embraces, protects and leads all the people of the North on the path of freedom and dignity.”

Friday marks the 17th anniversary of the March 12 uprising in Qamishlo.

The cities of “Roj Ava witnessed on March 12, 2004 and the days followed by a massive popular uprising against the Syrian regime, following the painful events that took place in the stadium of The City of Qamishlo following, a match between the two teams of Al-Jihad and Al-Fatwa Club.
