“The Kurdish dialogue must continue in a smooth manner and not a threat,” said Hassan Ramzi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), adding that the unity of the Kurdish class in Syria is very necessary, but the second party of the dialogue, the Kurdish National Unity Party (PYNK), is putting many obstacles to its thwarting.
“Ramzi” said in a special statement to “Xeber 24”: “Today is the 42nd anniversary of the death of the spiritual father of the Kurds “Mala Mustafa Barzani”, and we, as the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Syria and the Kurdish Council, recall this day, and affirm that Barzani’s approach is the way to save the Kurds and reach his legitimate rights.”
On the reasons for the suspension of the Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue, “Ramzi” pointed out, “The unity of the class and the arrangement of the Kurdish house from the inside is very necessary today, but unfortunately the Kurdish dialogue faced difficulties through the practices that targeted the offices of the Kurdish Council parties and burned it and attacked its headquarters, pressures and the arrest of activists, as well as statements that targeted the brave Peshmerga “Peshmerga Rouge”, who are fighting for the rights of the Kurdish people.” As he described it.
“These practices require the intervention of the sponsor of the dialogue, to put an end to them, so that we can re-engage in dialogue, because the Kurdish dialogue is a strategic work for us, and the talks must continue in a smooth manner, not by threat,” he said.
“Our demands are to stop the practices against the Kurdish National Council and its political activists, put an end to the abuses that took place some time ago, and make an apology,” Ramzi” said.
Ramzi concluded: “This requires the sponsor of the dialogue and specifically the American mission.”
