A major explosion and fire occurred in central Texas, after a truck collided with a train loaded with coal and gasoline, according to American media.
The authorities stated that a truck of a “locomotive and trailer” and a freight train collided in “Cameron” in central “Texas”, causing a major explosion and fire.
She added that “houses in the vicinity of the fire have been evacuated,” noting that “there have been no reports so far of injuries.”
“The truck collided with the train, causing 14 cars from the train to derail their track,” said Milam County Judge Steve Young.
“The train was carrying coal and gasoline, which caused the great fire,” said Chris White, a police officer in Milam County.
He added that “the back of the train contains dangerous materials, but they did not leak,” noting that “there is no longer a threat at this stage.”
