Dozens of citizens demonstrated in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, in front of the Turkish embassy, to protest the Turkish incursion into the Kurdistan region.
According to media reports, dozens of people gathered Thursday morning in front of the Turkish embassy, denouncing the Turkish incursion in the north of the country.
Iraqi security agencies were deployed in front of the embassy in Al-Waziriya area of Baghdad, and temporarily cut off roads near the embassy, the media said.
On February 10, Turkey launched a military operation called “Eagle’s Paw 2” against the PKK, in which the Turkish army suffered heavy losses in its ranks, and announced its withdrawal less than four days after the announcement of the operation.
