The New York Times reported that two U.S. police officers involved in the killing of African-American” Priona Taylor” will be fired.

According to the newspaper, lawyers for police officers Miles Cosgrove and Joshua Janice said his clients had received a notice of dismissal.

Detective” Brett Hankson” was the only one to be tried in the case and was fired in June, but he was not directly charged with Taylor’s death, and was only charged with endangering the lives of a number of people by opening fire, the paper said.

And ”Priona Taylor”, a 26-year-old African-American ambulance worker, was shot eight times by police while executing a search warrant. The police opened fire after the girl’s friend shot one of them, after they were believed to be in a break-in.

One of the symbols of protests against police abuse, “Priona Taylor”, along with George Floyd, who died in custody in” Minneapolis”, is also named.
