The public seminar organized by the Syrian Democratic Council under the slogan “Towards a National Conference for the People of the Island and the Euphrates”, which began on September 11th, in the city of Hasaka, will continue with the presence of more than 500 political, tribal and social figures.
Today, Tuesday, the city of Qamishlo in the Al-Jazeera region hosted the eighth dialogue seminar of the Syrian Democratic Council, under the slogan “Towards a national conference for the people of the island and the Euphrates”.
A short while ago, the eighth symposium of the Syrian Democratic Council started in the “Zana” hall in the city of Qamishlo, under the slogan “Towards a national conference for the people of the island and the Euphrates” to ensure citizenship and the rights of all components in a unified Syria, and to promote participation in the institutions of the Autonomous Administration of northern and eastern Syria, and the development and empowerment of autonomous and civil administrations.
130 people from representatives of clans, parties and political forces, the Kurdish National Council, representatives of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Jazira region, intellectuals, jurists and independent personalities will participate in the activities of the dialogue seminar.
The activities of the symposium are managed by the President of the Executive Council of the Syrian Democratic Council, Ilham Ahmed, the member of the Presidential Council, Ganda Muhammad and Ali Rahmoun, and the President of the Syriac Union Party, Sanhrib Barsoum.
The activities of the symposium will focus on two axes, the first axis about the Syrian-Syrian dialogue, which includes dialogue with the opposition, dialogue with the regime, Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue and its reflection on the political solution.
As for the second axis, it deals with the historical relations between the peoples of the region, their role in building self-management, and the mechanism for developing participation and institutional work in the Autonomous Administration.
The Syrian Democratic Council held similar seminars in Al-Hasakah, Raqqa, Tabqa, Manbij, and Kobani, and today in Qamishlo.
