Belgium bans travel to Spain, France and Switzerland

Belgium has declared “the prevention of unnecessary travel” to a number of regions in Spain, Switzerland and France, as a result of the epidemic of “Covid 19” on its territory.

And the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for refraining from going to Navarra, Aragon, Barcelona and Lerida in the region of Catalonia, and to the Lake Geneva region which includes the cantons of Vaud, Valais, Geneva and the French province of Mayen, due to the epidemiological situation in it.

Where travelers from these areas will be required to undergo an examination and be subject to quarantine.

And starting on Saturday, every person who arrives in Belgium from abroad or wants to stay for more than 48 hours on the territory of the country must submit an identification form that includes his information and the places he visited in the past 14 days.

On the other hand, the Belgian Foreign Ministry said it “recommends” the imposition of an examination and quarantine on the arrivals from a number of areas listed on the “orange” list that includes especially for France, the Paris region, except for “Seine-et-Marne”.

It is noteworthy that the number of infections in Belgium from the beginning of the epidemic until Saturday was 68,751, and the number of deaths was 9841.
