Two killed and four missing in Mexico due to “Hana” storm

The civil defense in Mexico announced the death of two people, and the loss of four, on Monday, as the storm “Hana” that caused floods in the northeast of the country crossed.

The two dead were a “woman and her daughter” were swept away by a flood river stream as a result of the storm, while they were trying to cross the “Kahila” border state with the United States by truck, according to the Mexican press. The four people were also lost in this state, which was hit by heavy rains during the past 48 hours.

And more than a thousand Mexicans are still in temporary shelters after crossing “Hana”, the first hurricane to hit the Atlantic coast in 2020.

And meteorologists have warned of the risk of floods and landslides in northern Mexico.
