19 properties were raided to hunt down those involved in supporting terrorism in Germany

The Media reports reported that on Wednesday morning, the German authorities launched a major campaign of searches involving 19 properties and shops in the capital, Berlin, to search for those involved in supporting terrorism.

A German police spokesman said 450 policemen participated in the campaign, as 19 properties were searched in the neighborhoods of Reinikendorf, Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg and Tempelhof-Schöneberg.

He explained that the campaign included homes and shops in particular, adding that mosques are not among its goals.

And the public prosecutor announced in the German capital, Berlin, the issuance of 20 search decisions against 12 suspects involved in several crimes, including the financing of terrorism.

It is reported that during the past two years the German police succeeded in thwarting many terrorist attacks, but this did not end the threat of extremist organizations in Germany, but rather it became high, especially the Brotherhood.
