Beach without water .. Milano creates a private beach among skyscrapers to escape from Corona

Selava Omar –

Despite attempts to return the Corona virus (Covid 19) in a second wave, this did not prevent Milan residents from enjoying the holiday in an innovative way.

Where relaxation chairs and sun umbrellas spread on the green grass amid the skyscrapers, as the city has become its innovative “beach”, its residents enjoy in an attempt to forget what they suffered as a result of the Corona pandemic.

“Bam Beach” (in Italian “Lido Bam”) is located in the trendy Porta Nueva neighborhood, surrounded by the towers of the most important banks, including UniCredito, HSBC and BNP Paribas.

It is expected that the number of Italians who will leave their residence this summer to go on vacation, even for a few days, is 34 million out of the total population of 60 million, a decrease of 13% from last year, according to a survey conducted by Coldiretti / Exe.

The survey indicated that 93% of those who would go on vacation decided to stay in Italy, the highest rate in at least ten years.

Even a quarter of those chose to remain in their area despite the lifting of the quarantine measures imposed to prevent the spread of the Coruna virus
