The SDF campaign launched against ISIS enters its second day … and it arrested 21 elements ISIS

The Syrian Democratic Forces are continuing their military campaign launched against the cells of the terrorist organization ISIS in the countryside of Hasaka and Deir Ezzor, to enter its second day.

This campaign began yesterday, Thursday, from the town of Al-Dashisha, southeast of Hasaka, from 3 axes where the countryside of Hasaka will be combed, and it runs towards the Euphrates River until it reaches northeast of Deir Ezzor.

It is noteworthy that the Syrian Democratic Forces who are following the campaign managed to arrest 21 mercenaries from ISIS cells, during their raid on mercenary dens yesterday.

This campaign came after the activity of ISIS cells increased in the recent period, taking advantage of the conditions of the embargo to prevent the outbreak of the Corona epidemic and the commission of several crimes against civilians and the military, and also came on the basis of appeals to elders and leaders of the tribes of the region to protect them from these cells.

It is worth noting that the number of participants in this campaign is 6 thousand fighters and fighters from the Syrian Democratic Forces, Women Protection Units and the commandos of the Syrian Democratic Forces, in addition to coordination with the international coalition forces present on the ground, in addition to air support from the coalition forces.
