Floods and landslides have killed nearly 200 people, displaced 100,000, and destroyed Kenya’s infrastructure.

The minister responsible for relations between the leaders of the region and the national government, “Eugene and Amalwa” that the floods and landslides concentrated in western Kenya, killing 194 people so far, and the loss of thirty others within 24 hours.

For his part, government spokesman, “Cyrus Oguna”, said on Twitter that the floods have caused the displacement of 100,000 people over the past three weeks, which complicates efforts to protect from the recent Corona pandemic, which killed 24 people in the country. .

The authorities confirmed an unprecedented increase in water levels in two major dams, and the evacuation of vulnerable villagers.
