Two earthquakes occurred on Wednesday, their intensity was described as moderate, the first with a magnitude of 3.7, east of “El-Arish” in Egypt, and the second with a magnitude of 3.5, “Wadi Araba” in the south of the Dead Sea.
The stations of the National Seismological Network of the National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research in Egypt recorded an earthquake at dawn today at approximately three in the local time, with a magnitude of 3.7 on the Richter scale and at a depth of 4 km, in the Dead Sea region, and is 140 km east of the city of “El-Arish” and 160 Km southwest of Amman, Jordan.
And the Jordanian Seismological Observatory recorded, at about 4 am local time, an earthquake measuring 3.5 degrees on the Richter scale, 45 km west of the city of “Tafilah”, at a depth of one kilometer.
