Clashes and mutual shelling between pro-Turkish factions and the Syrian regime forces in Idlib countryside, amid recent attempts to advance in the region

Clashes continue between the Syrian regime forces on the one hand, and the armed factions supported by Turkey on the other hand, in Idlib governorate, amidst mutual bombing also taking place between the two sides.

Activists from Idlib told to ” Xeber24″ reporter that violent clashes took place on the night of “Monday-Tuesday” between the armed factions and the Syrian regime forces on the axis of the village of “Ruwaiha” north of the city of Maarat al-Numan, in the southern Idlib countryside, amid attempts by the latter in the region.

The activists added that the Syrian regime’s artillery also bombed the headquarters of the pro-Turkish factions with heavy artillery in the towns of “Pie” and “Al-Bara”, south of Idlib governorate.

It is worth mentioning since the signing of the ceasefire agreement in northwestern Syria between Russian President “Vladimir Putin” and his Turkish counterpart, “Recep Tayyip Erdogan”, clashes and shelling between the warring parties in Idlib province continue, amid great tensions within them between the supporter and his supporters.
