He said in the statement: “With the initiative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to invite the permanent members of the United Nations on the ceasefire process in the world, especially in the Middle East, with a view to finding a way out of the (Covid 19) virus crisis that has become more dangerous than wars, And invading the interests of the countries concerned, they are fully aware that countries seek to pursue their interests and expansionist dreams.
“The Turkish state is one of the most countries in the world that fights the will of peoples, and does not allow them to attain their freedom, and considers them a crime against them, and the Turkish state is one of the countries that carried out countless crimes against our Kurdish people, the Armenian, Syriac and Assyrian people.”
The statement pointed out, “Despite the calls and appeals from the largest international organization to stop the military campaigns and not use them against civilians, the fascist Turkish government provokes the unstable situation of the Iraqi government, and exploits its friendship with the Kurdistan Democratic Party to extend its control over large areas by launching air strikes on Makhmour camp.” For defenseless civilian refugees, as these raids destroyed the property of civilians in the camp and the martyrdom of three women, amid the complicity of silence by the governments of Baghdad and Hewler, which allowed for the expansion of the Turkish occupation in the Bashur of Kurdistan and its concentration in the depth of Iraqi territory.
The statement concluded, “We condemn and denounce this cowardly barbaric bombardment, and we call on the governments of Baghdad and Hawler to take responsibility for the repeated Turkish air strikes, especially the KDP authorities that impose a strict siege on the refugees in the camp, to prevent them from water, air and humanitarian services, these are defenseless civilians and not terrorists, We ask them to immediately lift the siege, because the Turkish occupation state exploits these conditions and practices the most heinous crimes against the will of our people in Makhmur.
