Libyan Foreign Ministry: Erdogan violated all norms and laws … He is the “godfather of terrorism”

Selava Omar –

The Libyan government said in a statement that Turkish President “Recep Tayyip Erdogan” violated all international norms and laws by supporting terrorist groups to occupy Tripoli, describing him as “the godfather of terrorism”.

The statement issued by the Libyan government indicated that Erdogan sent to Libya “foreign mercenaries and drones bombing innocent people and ships carrying all kinds of weapons, ammunition, missiles, armored vehicles and training criminal gangs to kill Libyans.”

The statement addressed the Turkish people, saying: “Your sons are fighting alongside the wanted terrorists and internationals, to return to Turkey in coffins because of Erdogan’s ambitions and delusions, as well as his party, which made the Turkish territories a haven for the terrorists, and a starting point for threatening security and peace in the region and the world.”

In this context, the Libyan National Army, led by Field Marshal “Khalifa Hifter”, announced, at dawn today, the shooting down of a Turkish airliner that took off from the Maitika military base in the capital, Tripoli.
