A group of the organization carries out an attack on areas in the vicinity of oilfields in the eastern desert of Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the sound of a violent explosion in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, it was caused by a person who blew himself up in a vehicle of the Syria Democratic Forces, in Al-Hawayij village in the eastern sector of the province, which injured several members who were in the vehicle, amid information about the death of at least 2 members of them, while the SOHR monitored an attack by the “Islamic State” organization in areas in the oilfields of Al-Bassam, Al-Azraq and Al-Sijan, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor province, where clashes described as violent, took place between them against members of the SDF, amid exchange of targeting and there is information about the fall of human losses in the ranks of both parties, while the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that the military operations are still continuing at violent pace at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the Syria Democratic Forces managed to achieve an important advancement by completing their control over Al-Sha’afa town, which is the second largest town in ISIS enclave and over which the Syria Democratic Forces imposed their control after Hajin town, thus, the scope of the SDF control expands including Hajin, Al-Bokhatir, Abu al-Hassan, Sha’afah, and Al-Baghuz Tahtani, while the areas of al-Kashmeh, al-Marashdah, Al-Safafiyah, Al-Bobadran, Susah and Al-Baghuz Foqani, are still under the control of the organization which is fighting desperately to survive as it is almost collapsed in the shadow of the division in its ranks between those who want to surrender and those who want to fight to death, and the clashes are accompanied by exchange of targeting in the clash areas, amid the overflight of the international coalition over the area and their targeting every now and then, to the organization’s positions and areas of presence at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River.
The Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that the citizens and families of the “Islamic State” organization of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, are still continuing to flee the controlled areas of the organization, towards the controlled areas of the Syria Democratic Forces in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that about 500 citizens mostly children and women, managed to get out of ISIS controlled areas on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, towards the SDF-held areas, raising to 12950, the number of people who have gotten out of the organization’s enclave in December 2018, of different nationalities of Syria, Iraq Russia, Somalia, Philippine and other Asian nationalities, and about 9850 of them have gotten out after the decision of the American president Trump to withdraw from Syria on the 19th of December 2018, also the Syria Democratic Forces managed to arrest more than 500 members of the “Islamic State” Organization, of who infiltrated with the displaced people and fled the “Islamic State” organization’s-controlled areas, the sources confirmed that most of the arrests were carried out after information from the people who got out of the enclave about their infiltration, while others have surrendered themselves after they managed to leave ISIS last enclave.
And the Syrian Observatory published yesterday, Friday, that it monitored the continuation of clashes between members of the “Islamic State” organization against the Syria Democratic Forces, in areas at the ISIS-controlled enclave on the east bank of Euphrates River, where the Syrian Observatory monitored at four o’clock on Friday afternoon, the 4th of January 2019, that a Coalition convoy of 7 US Hummer vehicles and 2 military trucks have left, and the clashes between both parties were accompanied by continuous targeting between both parties, and confirmed information about more casualties among members of the organization, whose morale is deteriorating day after day according to reliable local sources, with weakness in repelling attacks of the Syria Democratic Forces, and with the fall of more casualties it rose to 1063 the number of fighters of the “Islamic State” organization, who were killed in shelling, clashes, bombings, and raids within the enclave of the organization since the 10th of September 2018, also it rose to about 571, the number members of the Syria Democratic Forces who were killed since the 10th of September 2018, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the Syria Democratic Forces being able to achieve the first 2 important advancement, the first in Abu Hasan village and the second is the control of al-Bukhatir village which are east of Hajin town, which was controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces before the US decision to withdraw from the area, and the SOHR monitored that the SDF managed to achieve advancement in positions and points in the organization’s enclave, as a part of process of clamping down on the organization even more, where more than 500 of ISIS members have fled since the US decision to withdraw its forces from the Syrian territory on the 19th of December 2018, while the clashes are accompanied by exchange of targeting in the clash areas, where the organization is fighting desperately to retain the last areas left under its control in the east of the Euphrates, stretching from the east of Abu Al-Hassan village to the Syrian – Iraqi border, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received information on Friday, from tens of people who have gotten out of the ISIS-enclave at the east bank of Euphrates River, towards the Syria Democratic Forces’ controlled areas, that the Organization is in an accelerated collapse situation, as a result of its internal conflicts and its inability to control the security of the remaining areas, and reliable sources told the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the “Islamic State” is in a significant breakdown situation, where it no longer has enough power to prevent the people in the last enclave from escaping towards the Syria Democratic Forces’ controlled areas, where the recent advancement in the area are forcing the Organization to retreat and withdraw instantly without any regard for civilians, and without being able to force them to retreat.
