Turkish court rules over “Demirtash” and “Onder” to prison despite European court ruling
The Turkish Supreme Court in Istanbul sentenced on the former head of the Democratic People’s Party, Saladin Dumirtash, to four years and eight months. The leader of the party “Sari Suria Onder” , was sentenced to three and six months in prison for belonging to a terrorist organization and propaganda for armed struggle.
The prisoners had objected to the sentences handed down by the Istanbul Supreme Court and rejected the charges against them but the court reinstated the sentence with prison.
the second court in Istanbul of the justice court, has upheld the sentences imposed on “Demirtash” and “Onder”, thus made the decision final.
