This came through a statement issued by the Center for Diplomatic Relations of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) against the backdrop of the occupation army to bomb villages west of Kobanî on Sunday, the statement said:
“In important circumstances and in the final stage of the campaign to eliminate “ISIS” the terrorist organization and the consensus that the political solution is the right direction towards building stability in Syria, the Turkish state is insisting in all aspects not to accept any kind of efforts that could contribute to the establishment process of a solution that leads to stability and the end of the war that destroyed Syria and displaced its people.
The Turkish attack that took place on the morning of the quartet meeting in Istanbul between Turkey, France, Germany and Russia on 28-10-2018 on some border villages in Kobanî and coincidentally with the first liberation anniversary of the capital of terrorism, the city of al-Raqqa is a dangerous escalation and a message said that Turkey still wants the war in Syria, as well as seeks with the leadership of Erdogan’s to drive the reviving process of any new form instead of ISIS acting on the pretext of dragging Syria into further destruction, both militarily and politically through disruption and stifling the chances of a solution; in addition to Turkey’s continuous attempt to prevent the birth of any democratic project that is the guarantee towards a comprehensive Syrian national solution that achieves unity of the Syrian society and its compatibility and eliminates the possibilities of conflict and internal war.

We at the Center for Diplomatic Relations of (TEV- DEM) denounce the Turkish army’s aggression against villages and areas in Kobanî and call urgently to all the influence powers in the Syrian situation as the UN, the Security Council, the European Union and the International Alliance forces of the importance of the assessment of war and the victories achieved against ISIS and the pursuit of a democratic solution, including attempts to make our struggle and our war on terrorism a victim of their interests, to push the solution process in Syria with serious efforts and adoption of the solution in accordance with a democratic constitution that meets the need of the Syrians and reduces the cases of Turkish attack and direct occupation of the Syrian areas as well as at the same time to the world public opinion to work in accordance with the existing facts and in accordance with the proof of the role of Turkey and its involvement in supporting terrorism and destabilizing in Syria.
We call upon all our people and all components at inside and abroad, as well as all political forces, political parties and civil society movements, to condemn the violations of the Turkish state committed against our areas and in Afrin in particular and want to replicate in other areas and must expose the Turkish role and Erdogan’s policies in preventing the consensus between the Syrian people and its attempts to revive terrorism under new names in Syria after the campaign to eliminate ISIS, which is in its final stages.
