Al-Raqqa people celebrate anniversary of their city’s liberation from terrorism
Hundreds of people from the city of Raqqa have been arriving in the Black Lager to celebrate the first anniversary of the liberation of their city from the abomination of IS mercenaries.
Today, on 27 Oct, the people of the city of al-Raqqa are celebrating the anniversary of the liberation of their city with the participation of thousands of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Self-Defense Forces, SDF commanders, political figures and clans’ notables.
Pictures of martyrs were hung in the stadium, the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to liberate the city of al-Raqqa, also flags of SDF and the Future Syria Party were hung too.
The ceremony is due to start shortly a while, with a military parade by 1,500 fighters with the brass band, and speeches by al-Raqqa’s Civil Council and SDF.
It is noteworthy that the SDF liberated the city of al-Raqqa on 17 October, 2017, after fierce battles with IS mercenaries.
