Hurricane Mankot hits China
Hurricane Mankot, which killed 59 people in the Philippines, has hit Guangdong province, one of China’s most densely populated regions, at winds of 162 kilometers per hour .
Chinese authorities have announced a state of high alert in the province of Guangdong, after the approach of the hurricane that hit Hong Kong, and led to the shaking of skyscrapers there and breaking the glass windows .
According to the BBC that the death toll of the cyclone in the Philippines rose to 59 people, mostly due to landslides caused by the heavy rains that accompanied the hurricane .
Manquot is the strongest storm in 2018 that swept the northern parts of the Philippines on Saturday.
