Y.A.T arrested IS’ prominent commander
The Special of the People Protection Units (Y.A.T) announced that they have arrested one of the prominent commanders of IS who is called Abu Karam and used to work in the mercenaries’ Intelligence in many Syrian cities.
The Media Center of the People’s Protection Units published on Tuesday a statement on their official website, announcing that the special units managed during a successful operation to arrest the mercenary Adel Musa Abdel Jazzar, known as Abu Karam, one of the prominent commanders in the ranks of IS. The Center pointed out during the statement that the mercenary Abu Karam reported a lot of valuable information about IS, supported by the Turkish occupation.
The text of the statement included,
“Our battle against IS as the most dangerous extremist organization that has emerged in the history and has become a disaster for the people of the Middle East and Rojava Revolution will continue to protect the values and principles of our people and humanity. Now, IS cannot advance and the places that they seized have been liberated by our troops, and our fighting will advance to achieve great victories.
On August 11, 2018 and in a special operation, one of IS’ prominent commanders known as Abu Karam whose real name is Adel Musa Abdel Jazzar (recently, nicknamed by Abu Basel al-Ghazzawi) who had worked in the intelligence in many cities, including al-Bab, Hama, Aleppo, Idlib, al-Raqqa, al-Mayadin, al-Tabqa, and Daraa was arrested. Adel Musa Abdel Jazzar reported a lot of valuable information about IS organization that is supported by the Turkish occupation state.
As a result of a successful operation carried out by the Special Units (Y.A.T.), Adel Musa Abdel Jazzar was arrested and he is alive.”
