YPG reveal outcome of operations carried in Afrin
The People Protection Units (YPG) revealed in a statement the outcome of operations carried out by their units against the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in Afrin, within the second phase of Resistance of the Age.
The Media Center of the People Protection Units on Sunday released a written statement, in which it revealed the operations carried out by their units under the second phase of Resistance of the Age against the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in Afrin.
The text of the statement:
“Within the framework of the second phase of Resistance of the Age, our units continue to carry out specific operations against the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation in the region of Afrin. On 30 August and 1 September, our units carried out three qualitative operations dealing harsh blows to the mercenaries
On 30 August, Our units have ambushed against a number of mercenaries of Asefat al-Shamal Battalion on the road between Qatma and Qastal Jandu villages belonging to Shara district. The result of the operation was the killing of a number of mercenaries and, no precise information was obtained about their wounded and dead.
On August 31, while Turkish state mercenaries were carrying out a search operation in vicinity of the village of Bashmara in Sherawa district, they were caught in an ambush by our fighters who clashed with mercenaries. Three mercenaries were killed during the clash and three were wounded.
On the first of September, our units detonated an explosive device in one of the patrols of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, during the operation three mercenaries were killed and three others were wounded .”
