ISIS possesses 40 tons of gold, east of Syria: Observatory

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has said that ISIS possesses 40 tons of gold in eastern Euphrates.
In a report issued on Tuesday, SOHR said if ISIS hands over the gold to the US-led Coalition in east of Euphrates, their commanders will be allowed safe passage to an undisclosed location.
However, the report noted that the Coalition is attempting to force ISIS militant to surrender their last positions as well as all the stolen gold in their possession.
Hundreds of ISIS fighters are currently hold their last bastion in the eastern region of the Euphrates River Valley. The group is under heavy attack by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), backed by the Coalition, at the town of Baghouz.
